Five New Diplexers Join Mini-Circuits Industry-Leading Filter Lineup
February 21, 2012 — Low-loss, high rejection diplexers are essential for applications as varied as CATV, satcom, P2P, multiband radios, automotive electronics, and air traffic control, and Mini-Circuits has added 5 more models to meet emerging customer needs.
New 75Ω surface-mount models include the TDP-112-75+, with passbands at DC-65 and 88-1100 MHz—ideal for CATV, set-top boxes, and wireless applications. Typical passband insertion loss is only 1.0 dB, with 50+ dB rejection of out-of-band signals. And for satcom or multiband radio systems, the TDP-121-75+ offers passbands at DC-250 and 450-1200 MHz, with typical passband IL as low as 0.6 dB and between-band isolation up to 55 dB!
The good news extends to 50Ω systems as well, starting with the surface-mount RDP-272+. Passbands of DC-950 MHz and 1.7-2.7 GHz hit the right spot for many satcom, multiband radio, and vehicle tracking systems with typical passband insertion losses of only 0.7 dB. And for applications that require a channel for low-frequency pilot carrier, clock, or IF signals, take a look at the coaxial ZX75-2R15+ or surface-mount ZX75-2R15+. Passbands of DC-20 MHz and 0.95-2.15 GHz fill the bill for satcom, P2P, air traffic control, and automotive applications, with as little as 0.4 dB insertion loss in the low passband, and up to 90 dB isolation for high-frequency signals!
