Mini-Circuits Ultra-Small LTCC Filters Reach 12 GHz and Beyond!
July 27, 2012 — Our Low-Temperature Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) filter family continues to push the envelope of what’s possible in a tiny, .12 x .06” footprint. The newest high- and low-pass designs feature passbands up to 12 GHz and higher, with the excellent temperature stability and high power handling that our customers have come to expect!
The patent-protected LFCN-113+ and LFCN-123+ low-pass filters provide DC-11 GHz and DC-12 GHz passbands, respectively, for up to 8W inputs. And the HFCN-103+ high-pass filter has an insertion loss less than 2.0 dB from 9.7 to 15 GHz for up to 7W maximum input power, with a breakdown voltage of 1 kV typical! The rugged, hermetically sealed cases are rated for operation from -55 to +100° C, and feature small, wrap-around terminations that minimize variations in performance due to parasitics.
