Mini-Circuits Enters 19th Consecutive Year as Brooklyn Cyclones Sponsor

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – When the bats are swinging off the Coney Island Boardwalk, Mini-Circuits is there cheering for the home team.

As a Brooklyn-born, Brooklyn-based manufacturer, Mini-Circuits takes every opportunity to support the common good and quality of life in the local community. In summer, that means sponsoring the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Class A short season affiliate of the New York Mets. The team plays at MCU Park, where a large Mini-Circuits sign can be seen in the outfield for the 2019 season.

With its headquarters just a few subway stops from MCU Park on the Q train, Mini-Circuits has been sponsoring the Cyclones since 2001.

"It's a chance for us to encourage our employees to go out to a ballgame and enjoy some family time," said Ted Heil, president of Mini-Circuits. "Cyclones games are a truly unique experience because they're right by the beach and boardwalk amusements."

The Cyclones are where "Amazin" begins. The minor league team is a proving ground for the next generations of Major League Baseball talent. 58 former Cyclones have gone on to join Major League teams since the team was formed in 2001. Fans enjoy giveaways and promotions at every game, including fireworks on Friday nights and free T-shirts on Sundays.

In addition to the fanfare and rising stars, MCU Park is also a destination to watch well-known Mets players designated for rehab from injuries. The 2019 season has already seen star pitchers, Noah Syndergaard and Jeurys Familia, suit up for the Cyclones.

Mini-Circuits is proud to support a variety of cultural activities, academic institutions, charities and non-profits in Brooklyn and around the world. The company’s sponsorship of the Brooklyn Cyclones is one part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community involvement.
