Mini-Circuits Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Founding

19 September 2018 – Today in 1968, Harvey Kaylie incorporated Mini-Circuits in the kitchen of his apartment in Brooklyn, NY. He started the company with an ambitious goal to design a better double-balanced mixer than was available on the market at the time, and for much lower cost. His early efforts led to the development of a new product line that would fuel Mini-Circuits' rapid growth and revolutionize the RF/microwave industry. Kaylie's success innovating low-cost alternatives for producing high-quality RF components ultimately helped drive the proliferation of wireless technology throughout modern society.

50 years later, Mini-Circuits is a global leader in the design, distribution, and direct sale of RF and microwave products with 27 product lines comprising over 10,000 active models used by over 20,000 customers worldwide. Our products are used in applications ranging from telecommunications to aerospace, defense and military, industrial, and medical and diagnostic systems, among others.

As Mini-Circuits has grown to meet the evolving needs of the market, the company has remained committed to creating high-quality products at competitive prices, and with uncompromising service and technical support. For 50 years, customers have rewarded our commitment by trusting us with their business. As we move forward, we pledge to work even harder to continue earning that trust and innovating new solutions to support our customers' success. We thank all of our customers, team members, industry partners, and friends for being part of the Mini-Circuits family, and for being part of our history. The company celebrates all we've accomplished together in the last 50 years and all we will accomplish in the next 50!
