Mini-Circuits Receives 2019 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon IDS

BOSTON (May 22, 2019) – Mini-Circuits has once again earned a 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award from longtime customer Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) Integrated Defense Systems (IDS).

The 2019 award, presented at the IDS Supplier Excellence Conference on May 21 in Boston, marks the ninth time Raytheon has honored Mini-Circuits for supplier excellence.

Raytheon IDS instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality and on-time delivery. Mini-Circuits was one of 75 Raytheon suppliers recognized with the 4-Star honor, which requires at least 97 percent on-time delivery and quality ratings.

"This award speaks not just to our engineering, but also to the service and commitment demonstrated throughout our company in every department," said Arthur Ackerman, VP of Quality for Mini-Circuits. "It reaffirms our quality policy, which is to provide products and services to our internal and external customers that will meet stated requirements, exceed expectations, and continuously be improved."

Mini-Circuits Product Marketing Manager Erick Olsen, who was in attendance at the conference to accept the award, nodded to Mini-Circuits’ exceptionally supportive end-of-life policy as particularly important to global customers such as Raytheon.

"We will never voluntarily discontinue any product, even going as far as to redesign products in order to uphold this promise," Olsen said. "When Raytheon designs a Mini-Circuits product into their line, they know we will continue to build and deliver it, on time and at the highest quality."

In 2018, Mini-Circuits supported Raytheon with 1,021 different models for production, development and prototyping to be used in more than a dozen programs for national and global defense. Hundreds of those models are on the Raytheon Approved Vendor List, and we are working to add hundreds more in 2019.
