New Surface Mount Bias Tee Expands Frequency Coverage from 10 MHz to 12 GHz

12 October 2016 Mini-Circuits’ TCBT-123+ surface mount bias tee expands the coverage of our bias tee line, providing a frequency range from 10 MHz to 12 GHz in a single, tiny device. This model is suitable for a wide variety of biasing applications such as biasing of amplifiers, laser diodes, active antennas and more. It provides 0.5 dB insertion loss, 1.25:1 VSWR, and 33 dB isolation. It can handle up to 1W RF input power and 200mA DC current.

This bias tee is an ideal companion product to Mini-Circuits LVA-123+ ultra-wideband, flat-gain MMIC amplifier, which operates over the same frequency range. The wideband bias tee allows designers to realize the full amplifier bandwidth without the need for multiple biasing components.

The TCBT-123+ comes housed in a tiny, shielded surface mount package (0.15 x 0.15 x 0.14”) making it a space saver in dense PCB layouts. It is aqueous washable and features wraparound terminations for excellent solderability.
